Water Diver Class Format Scuba certification consists of 3 parts:
Between our convenient weekend program and Weaver's 5 star private SCUBA instruction -- our fun and friendly classes fit into any schedule. Our programs allow students the time needed to assimilate the information between sessions. We won't rush you through! Upon completion of the classroom & pool training, you have 1 year to complete 4 Open Water Dives under the supervision of an instructor (anywhere in the world). Upon completion of the four open water dives, you will be a certified SCUBA diver! Congratulations!!! Let the friendly professionals at Weaver's help you start on your adventure today. Our weekend program is perfect for those who are so excited to dive, they just can't wait! An orientation session will be held at the dive center from 6:00pm to 7:00pm on the Thursday evening preceding the class. At this meeting we will go over all the details of the class and fit students in gear. Class starts on a Saturday morning at 10:00am at the South Boulder Rec. Center. This will be a pool session, so bring your bathing suit, towel, mask, fins and snorkel. The pool session will run until 1:30pm, and after an hour break we will meet back at the dive center for the classroom session from 2:30pm to 5:00pm. Sunday will follow the same schedule: pool session at South Boulder Rec. Center from 10:00am to 1:30pm, then classroom session from 2:30pm to 5:00pm. Students must have read the first 3 chapters in the manual, viewed the first 3 modules on the video, and completed the student record file prior to starting class. Class Schedule: Thursday

OPEN WATER CLASSES RUN EVERY MONTH. CALL FOR A CURRENT CLASS SCHEDULE AND FREE BROCHURE!! You can register and start you training online by clicking on the e Learning box above. The cost is $120.00 which includes unlimited access to the course materials and all knowledge reviews, quizzes and final exam. To complete the course you would call the store and schedule a review session, (approx. 2 hours) and the confined water training, (2 pool sessions 3 hours each.) The cost for the review and pool sessions if scheduled during our regular class times would be $110.00 per person. If you need to schedule during times other than our regular sessions the cost would be $230.00 for one person and $130 for 2 or more people. The eLearning crew pak contains a student record file, a log book and a recreational dive planner. The cost for the crew pak is $40.00 and is required for all eLearning students. As with all scuba certification programs, 4 open water dives are required to become a certified diver. Open water dives can be scheduled a number of ways either locally or on a trip. Private Classes
*The student kit is priced separately. Included in each kit is the manual, dive tables, log book, student record file and course video. Each student is required to have his or her own manual, dive table and log book. A buddy kit is available for those able to share the video or DVD, the buddy kit includes the manual, log book, dive tables and student record file and costs $59. This allows couples or families with children to share the video or DVD and save a few dollars. Course tuition includes professional instruction, all SCUBA equipment (tanks, weights, weight belts, BCs, and regulators) as well as a wetsuit for pool use. Students must purchase a "Student Kit" and need to have his or her own mask, fins, and snorkel. During your course, you are entitled to a 10% discount off all equipment purchases (not to be combined with any other sales/discounts.) Upon completion of the classroom and pool training, students have one year to complete four Open Water dives. These may be completed through a variety of formats. All students are required to have a Picture identification Card ($30.00) in order to complete the four Open Water Dives. Local Diving Weaver's offers local Open Water training dives in a variety of locations, depending on the season. From October until early June, we offer training dives at the Homestead Crater located in Heber City, Utah. This is approximately a seven hour drive from Boulder. From late June until September, Open Water Dives are conducted at Aurora Reservoir. Homestead Crater - $250.00 Protected from the elements, the Homestead Crater is a 95-degree hot spring located just outside of Park City, Utah. There is no better place to complete your Open Water training! Hotel accommodations may be booked through Weaver's! Simply let us know you would like to stay with the group. Blue Hole - $200.00 The Blue Hole in Santa Rosa, NM is just a six hour drive from Boulder. It is a natural spring that is 61 degrees year-round and provides a great opportunity for local diving at altitude. Hotel accommodations may be booked through Weaver's! Simply let us know you would like to stay with the group. Aurora Reservoir - $180.00 Convenient to drive to, Aurora Reservoir is just off of E-470 at the Quincy exit east of Denver. No overnight accommodations are required for this local dive destination. There is a sunken airplane only 30 feet below the surface! Nice scuba beach area for entries and exits.

This kit will include all the necessary paperwork to complete your Open Water dives, and will also include the certification fee. Cancellation Policy A $50.00 non refundable deposit is required to reserve you space in any class. If for some reason you have to cancel or move to a different class the balance of the course fee can be applied to another class as long as the change occurs more than 7 days before the class starts. If cancellation occurs less than 7 days prior to class start date, no moneys can be refunded or transferred. ~
