WEAVER'S DIVE & TRAVEL CENTER GROUP CANCELLATION POLICY Group Trip Land Cost: Weaver's Dive & Travel Center and its cooperative destinations incur unrecoverable charges preparing group trips, therefore there can be no refunds if cancellations occur less than 30 days prior to travel. Cancellations occurring between 31 to 60 days prior to departure will result in a penalty of 50% of land costs. Cancellations that occur up to 60 days prior to travel will result in forfeiture of deposit moneys. Travel Insurance is strongly recommended. We
will begin our trip by visiting one of our favorite dive destinations in the Caribbean,
the Island of Cozumel. Crystalline blue waters, in concert with a shear wall that
extends for miles along the island’s western coast, combine to attract divers
from around the globe to one of the most dramatic coral reefs in the world. We
then continue to Holbox for the whale shark encounter of a lifetime…… Caressed
by the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea and the warmth and richness of the
Gulf Stream, lays this little island, known by the name of Holbox. Isla Holbox
is a small Caribbean island which has remained unspoiled, uncrowded and virtually
untouched by the passage of time. Here you will find endless miles of virgin beaches
littered with shells, lush tropical mangrove forests and clear emerald and turquoise
waters. This is your opportunity to visit this rare gem of an island in the Mexican

Bonaire
is the Easternmost Caribbean island in the “ABC” island chain, made up of Aruba,
Bonaire and Curacao. Located in the Netherlands Antilles (often called the Dutch
Caribbean), the island is a mere 40 miles north of Venezuela. Bonaire covers 112
square miles, is 24 miles long and 3 to 7 miles across. Long known as one of the
Caribbean's most outstanding dive destinations, Bonaire has something for everyone.
Beautiful shallow coral gardens teeming with brightly colored fish life. Dramatic
walls of hard and soft corals. A large variety of unusual marine life such as
the timid sea horse and the almost impossible to see frog fish. The shore diving
in Bonaire is plentiful and easily accessible, allowing the most avid divers the
opportunity to do as much diving as they want. When not diving, enjoy several
top side attractions such as; hundreds of pink flamingos roaming wild, dramatic
desert landscapes, picturesque villages, charming people and even a pink beach.
For the less active...you can hang out by the hotel’s fresh water pool and sip

The

Diving
with giant manta rays at Socorro Island is once in a lifetime opportunity that
you will not want to miss. This is big animal diving at it’s best and the diver
interaction with giant manta rays is the most incredible and unique in the world.
You can also expect to see at least 5 different kinds of sharks including silkys,
galapagos, silvertips, white tip reef and hammerhead sharks. It is almost a certainty
that you will see dolphins from very close up and these guys often choose to interact
with our divers while humpback whales may also be spotted at this time of year.

The
Maldives Islands lie Southwest of India. Scattered across the equator in the middle
of the Indian Ocean, the gem-like islands of the Maldives depict the rare vision
of a tropical paradise. Palm fringed islands with sparkling white beaches, turquoise
lagoons, clear warm waters and coral reefs teeming with abundant varieties of
marine flora and fauna, fascinates visitors as it has for thousands of years.
There are three distinctly different types of diving: inside the atolls, outside
the atolls and inside the channels or passes, which is where the currents are
strongest and you'll find the greatest congregation of fish life. Most intriguing
are the cleaning stations, found around every corner and under every ledge. Groupers,
Snappers, Surgeonfish, Eels, Parrotfish, even Giant Napoleon Wrasse park casually
in corners, oblivious to all, (including cameras) while armies of wrasse, shrimp
and other assorted cleaners pick at debris in their open gills and cavernous mouths.
The big attraction, however, are the schools of fish that patrol the reefs in
colorful packs: Humpback and Black and White Snappers, Trevally Jacks, Barracuda,
Batfish, Unicornfish, Yellowback Fusiliers and Harlequin Sweetlips almost comical
in design. The reef's larger inhabitants, including sharks, rays and occasionally
even Whale Sharks, are often seen cruising in the blue. Join us for this exciting

SEE
THE “GREATEST SHOAL ON EARTH”! Every year in June and July the world’s greatest
marine migration takes place off the South African Wild Coast. Millions of sardines
follow the cold winter currents moving north toward the warm Indian Ocean, bringing
with them thousands of predators: dolphins, sharks, whales, seals and marine birds.
Join us in summer 2009 when we search the waters of South Africa for sardine bait
balls along with the marine birds, dolphins, whales, seals and sharks – follow
the hunters! We will begin our trip in Cape Town, a city dominated by a towering,
table-shaped mountain, set on a peninsula of soaring, rocky heights and lush valleys,
where two oceans converge- Indian and Atlantic. We will visit the famous Cape
Peninsula, enjoy a taste of many of South Africa’s famous wines at the local vineyards
and have a chance to Cage Dive with Great White Sharks….or if you aren’t interested
in the cage diving, witness Great White Shark breaching. After four thrilling
nights in Cape Town, we will head to the site of the Sardine Run for our once
in a lifetime adventure! After 8 adrenaline rushed days, we will continue to Phinda
Forest Lodge where we will get to spend our final days in South Africa on Safari!
